Workaround for new SmartThings app, instead of using SmartThings Classic

We all know the new SmartThings app can have trouble scanning for Z-Wave devices. One user found a roundabout way to get the app to find iblinds. He used the + on the top right, then chose smart things, then button, then the hub, the room etc. Say you don’t have a code and then finally it will scan and find it. 

If you try this using the new app, let us know if it worked for you.

This process worked just for me.  It does connect using legacy Z-Wave in a non-secure manner.
