Exposing iblinds through SmartThings into GoogleHome

Hi,

I have exposed my iblinds from SmartThings into Google Home via the standard ST integration. It shows up as a switch when exposing it to google so google refers to the open level as 'brightness'.

Has anyone found a way around this so when google home executes a command it just says 'setting {insert blind name here} to 65%' and not 'setting {insert blind name here} brightness to 65%'?

Small thing but would feel nicer and more slick.

Thanks in advance,

Ant

I figured out my own solution - just set up a custom Assistant routine. Bit of a pain as you have to remember specific commands (that you get to set) but you can control the output response to be whatever you like. I have set up pretty simple Open and Close routines in 1 room for now where the acknowledgement from Google Assistant is a simple 'Sure' as it executes the open or close event. Combine that with the device handler added tonight (in suggestions) where you can set a custom open % and it solves 90% of my most basic use case (open & close). The other 10% i can learn to live with the out of context Google response for the added % specific flexibility. Hth.
