I purchased the blinds with solar panels.  Since I should never need to charge the blinds, why do I need the power saving routine of the blinds turning off their communications?  It would seem relatively easy to add a routine that disables this power saving feature if the battery is over 75% state of charge.  This would also allow users without solar panels to decide if more frequent charging is worth the benefit of better connectivity.
